I mean, is this why millions of Americans are so wonderfully informed about the health care systems in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Israel, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, France, Iceland, Chile, Barbados...... Yes, because if something is watched by the most people, that must mean it's good. I mean, one trillion flies eat sh1t, so it must be delicious! One billion people believe Islam is the one true religion, so it must be! 4/5 doctors smoked Camels in 1955, so it must be the healthiest cigarette! Katy Perry is a top-selling musician, so she's obviously a true talent! Yet, our health care costs are what percentage of our GDP, yet bring us less impressive results than most other developed nations. Other rich, free, capitalist societies don't expect employers to be burdened with insurance fees, thus freeing up businesses, as well as opportunities for the self employed. Also, how is a mandate system, the type used in Israel, Japan and Switzerland, "government-run health care"? That is private enterprise, not govt. takeover.... Read More »
