So not only was Selena Gomez busy taking on the international leg of her tour while in Chile recently, but we hear that the star also got in some Q-time acting it up. Of course, we know that SG has said that 2012 is all about zeroing in on tv and movies, so it totally makes sense that she's lending a theatrical hand. In fact, from what we hear, Selena just happened to get on the project since she was in Chile during production. This will be a less-teen-focused film for Selena, as it's set to be horror thriller following the aftermath of the 2012 Chilean earthquake. Leave it to crazy scary movie man, Eli Roth, to guarantee that this is seriously freaky and to get into specifics, apparently and according to Deadline, the storyline follows a bunch of insane asylum inmates who break out of their island lockdown after the disaster -- so how on earth do you think Selena will fit into the plot? Again, she's got a cameo which means we will probably only see her in one scene, but what might happen to her character?? Not sure if you heard me the first time, but Eli Roth movies scare me so badly -- they make me want to cry. But I will also definitely be seeing Aftershock when it hits the movie circuit.
