The death toll from the massive 8.8 magnitude earthquake which struck near Concepcion, Chile's second largest city, has risen to 214 people. The earthquake was the strongest to hit Chile in half a century, and now more than 50 countries around the Pacific Rim are on alert for a tsunami. Michelle Bachelet, the outgoing president, declared a "state of catastrophe" and warned that more deaths were possible. Tom Ackerman reports.
